Sales & Partnerships Head (India, Pune)

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales & Partnership Head (India) to lead and scale our sales efforts across the country. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune. The Head of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to achieve sales targets, expanding our client base, and building strong relationships across brands, agencies, and publishers. You will play a critical role in identifying growth opportunities, managing key accounts, and working closely with leadership to shape the sales direction for Acunexus in India.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the business development team
  • Drive end-to-end sales efforts from outreach to closing
  • Develop sales strategies to acquire and retain key clients
  • Own revenue targets and ensure consistent business growth
  • Establish strong relationships with brand, agency, and publisher partners
  • Oversee pitch development, proposals, and client communication
  • Collaborate with internal teams (product, ops, design) for smooth campaign execution
  • Provide feedback to the product and strategy teams based on client insights
  • Track performance, optimize conversion, and report regularly on KPIs


Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in digital advertising, media sales, or programmatic sales
  • Demonstrated success in achieving revenue targets
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities
  • Deep understanding of the Indian advertising and media landscape
  • Existing relationships with advertisers, agencies, or supply partners is a plus
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • CRM and sales automation tool experience preferred
